Kasia and Michel travel together since 2009.
The idea of a longer and slower trip in a camper was born practically since we first met, progressing to a 4×4 solution soon after. Our camper was purchased in 2015 and tested for a couple of years on the back roads of Europe before the start of the African leg of the trip.
Kasia is a free-lance photographer. Michel is a recently retired senior manager from 3M. We are based in Warsaw (Poland).
“Tembo Tadaima” represents best what we aim to achieve. Tembo (or “elephant” in Swahili) catches the meaning of a slow, curious, determined traveller while Tadaima (or “I am home” in Japanese) wants to convey that the traveller is at home with its venture.
This is what we want to share with our friends.
